Terms of Service
These Terms & Conditions govern every rental made with MOMO Rent a Car. By confirming a reservation or signing the Rental Agreement, you accept the terms set out below.
Definitions & eligibility
1. Definitions — “Lessor” means MOMO Rent a Car, Skopje International Airport, North Macedonia. “Renter” means the individual or legal entity named in the Rental Agreement. “Rental Agreement” means the signed agreement governing the rental. “Authorized Driver” means any driver listed in the Rental Agreement. “Vehicle” means the rented vehicle with all keys, documents and accessories.
2. Driver Requirements — Minimum age according to vehicle category. Valid driving licence held for at least 2 years. Valid passport or ID. Additional documents may be required.
Using the vehicle
3. Vehicle Collection — The Renter confirms the vehicle has been inspected and accepted in good condition together with all documents, keys and accessories.
4. Rental Period — The rental starts and ends at the agreed times. Extensions require prior approval.
5. Vehicle Use — The vehicle may only be driven by Authorized Drivers and must not be used for illegal activities, racing, towing, off-road driving, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
6. Cross-Border Travel — Travel outside North Macedonia requires prior written approval. Unauthorized travel voids optional protection.
7. Fuel Policy — Vehicles are supplied and returned with the same fuel level unless otherwise agreed.
8. Mileage — Unlimited mileage unless stated otherwise.
Payments, deposits & liability
9. Payment — The Renter is responsible for all rental charges, extras, damages, fines, tolls, fuel differences, cleaning fees and administrative charges.
10. Security Deposit — A refundable security deposit may be required.
11. Traffic Fines — The Renter is responsible for all traffic and parking fines plus administrative fees.
Insurance & incidents
12. Accidents, Theft & Breakdown — The Renter must immediately contact the police, obtain a police report and notify MOMO Rent a Car.
13. Damage Responsibility — The Renter is liable for damages resulting from negligence, misuse, wrong fuel, lost keys, documents, interior damage and violations of these Terms.
14. Insurance — Basic insurance is included. Optional protection packages reduce liability subject to their terms. They do not cover negligence, wrong fuel, lost keys, interior damage, tires, wheels, underbody damage or incidents without a police report where required.
Returns & cleaning
15. Vehicle Return — Return the vehicle on time, at the agreed location, with all keys, documents and accessories.
16. Cleaning Policy — Excessive dirt, smoking residue, pet hair or unusual cleaning requirements will incur additional charges.
17. Smoking — Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all vehicles.
18. Lost Property — MOMO Rent a Car is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.
Privacy & data
19. Privacy — Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Cancellations & no-shows
20. Cancellation Policy — Free cancellation up to 14 days before pickup. Cancellations between 14 days and 72 hours before pickup incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within the last 72 hours before pickup are non-refundable. No-show reservations may be charged 100% of the booking value. Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method.
21. No-Show — Failure to collect the vehicle or meet rental requirements may be treated as a no-show.
Legal
22. Governing Law — These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia.
23. Acceptance — By signing the Rental Agreement or confirming a reservation, the Renter accepts these Terms & Conditions.
